Grouchy Kid goes back to school next week! EEEEEEEKKKKK! sorted out what uniform items he needs for the term and bought his trainers and jumpers today. Also went to Poundworld and stocked up on stuff that will get used (mouthwash, Stardrops, Zoflora)but wasn't vital. I feel better about having it to hand.

Quite a lot of boring chores to do plus the sewing in of name tapes, the joy of parenthood I suppose

Had a fabulous day, very good indeed. Visited an old friend from my work days who I haven't seen since his wedding over 7 years ago. He hasn't changed a bit, showed each other our children (his 2 girls and my Grouchy Kid) I really really wish I'd done it much much sooner.

Spent this afternoon blackberry picking with Grouchy Kid, a good kilo and half of wild organic berries collected and a lot of fun had. Now everything and I mean everything needs a wash

Golly, it's been a while hasn't it?

Well I did try to start blogging but well, life got in the way. Long story short, I got distracted by an obsession for a band and spent 6 months catching up on 15 years of output. Saw said band in June but they are still very much in my system. ho hum.

Bored of having MS, I just wish it would remit but Boris is taking his time grrrrrh

Just returned from a fantastic holiday to the East Coast, very beautiful and very enjoyable. Planing the next family outings (Dublin? Belfast, London, Glasgow, Manchester) but who knows It will be fun whatever we choose
